Laser Theory and Safety – This comprehensive course is designed for healthcare professionals entering the field of medical laser treatments, with a strong focus on dermatological applications. The program covers essential theoretical knowledge, including laser physics, safety protocols, regulatory compliance (such as CAN/ANSI standards), and the classification of different laser types. Participants will learn best practices for health and safety, as well as proper operation, maintenance, and sanitation of laser systems. Upon completion, graduates will be equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to safely and effectively use laser technology in clinical dermatology settings.

This intensive 7-day consecutive program, offered with Dermapiderme certification, is designed for those seeking specialized training in vascular treatments and photo-facials using medical lasers and IPL. The course covers a wide range of topics, including laser properties, treatment protocols, and hands-on application of various vascular procedures. Trainees will gain a solid understanding of laser theory, safety protocols, and become competent in the use of aesthetic laser and IPL technologies specifically for vascular treatments.

  • Days 1-2
Participants will learn the fundamentals of laser science, including the electromagnetic spectrum, laser theory, and device classifications. The sessions cover safety protocols, risk identification, and regulatory standards. Trainees will explore laser applications in aesthetic medicine—focusing on vascular treatments, hair removal, and pigmentation—along with device care, maintenance, and clinical best practices. Additional topics include skin anatomy, laser-skin interaction, treatment indications and outcomes, side effects, patient consultation, and required documentation.
  • Days 3–4
These days are dedicated to reviewing theoretical concepts and applying them in the treatment room. Students will engage in hands-on practice with real clients, focusing on pre- and post-treatment care, contraindications, side effects, and proper documentation. Practical sessions are designed to reinforce the knowledge gained in the first two days and build confidence in real-world application.
  • Days 5–7
The final days of the course focus entirely on practical sessions involving vascular treatments. Trainees will apply theory in hands-on scenarios with clients, gaining deeper experience and competency in delivering effective, safe treatments.
